Is it a good choice if my knees feel sensitive?

If you find a hard floor uncomfortable and prefer a softer place to kneel, the velvet surface and memory-foam padding provide extra cushioning. Comfort is personal; the mat is not a treatment for knee pain and cannot guarantee comfortable kneeling.

Can I use it on wood or tile floors?

Yes. The padding adds a soft layer between you and a hard floor. Lay the mat flat on a clean, dry, level surface, check that the non-slip base sits securely and keep the edges clear.
